The 2026 Sheringham 1940s Weekend will take place on Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September 2026.
The event includes a variety of activities, including:
- Steam service: A frequent steam service will run along the 5.5-mile Poppy Line between Sheringham, Weybourne, and Holt.
- Live music: Live music will be available all day.
- Classic vehicles: Classic vehicles will be on display.
- Vintage trade stands: Vintage trade stands will be available.
- Historical displays: Historical displays will be available at all three stations.
- Wartime fashions: Wartime fashions will be on display at all three stations.
- Live cooking demonstrations: Live cooking demonstrations will take place in Sheringham.
- Dance class: A dance class will take place in Weybourne.
- Royal Engineer Bomb Disposal training: Royal Engineer Bomb Disposal training will be available in Weybourne.
- Military camps: Military camps will be available in Holt.
- Land army displays and talks: Land army displays and talks will be available in Holt.
- Wartime scouts: Wartime scouts will compete in games in Holt.
- Replica Spitfire: A full-size replica Spitfire will be on display in Holt.
